• James Princep It is a historical monument dedicated to James Princep, a statue in white marble, and a lush green garden. Now, it has a name as Princep Ghat.
• Dakshineswar Kali temple Kolkata is the home of Goddess Kali. The very famous Dakshineswar Kali temple is dedicated to Goddess Kali. It is believed to be a sacred place for Hindu devotees.

Best time to visit: Summers are hot here in Kolkata, and it may be uncomfortable for a city tour. October to March is preferred to be the best time to visit Kolkata. Especially Durga Puja is the best time to spend a few days in Kolkata.

How to reach: Kolkata has its international airport, named after Netaji Subhash Chandra International Airport. Kolkata railway station is the last one and unique in itself in this region. It is well connected with the top railway junctions of India. Buses, rental cars, and luxury buses are available from all significant neighboring state cities.
