Shimla “Shimla, the queen of hills,” once the British summer capital of India, is also a sneak to Bollywood's favorite background. Top attractions of Shimla • Heritage walk on the streets of the city The streets of Shimla are ignited with the story of ‘Chudail Baudi,’ which is about a woman wearing a white saree in a hunt of single men. Walking down on the streets, you may come up to scandal point, which was named in 1892 after a fierce argument between Maharaja of Patiala and the Viceroy. Give yourself a chance to heritage walk on the streets towards the Shimla General post office. Walk for Christ Church, which was built in 1857 by the father of Rudyard Kipling. • Kufri and Chail Kufri to Chail is just like walking back in time while enjoying the Indo-English architecture laws and the divine beauty of the Himalayas with long trees of Deodar and pine. July to September: Observe rainfall, and it is not suggested for the tourists to plan for Shimla. October to February: is again open for tourists with attractive weather and snow-capped mountains. How to reach: The nearest airport to Shimla is Chandigarh and Delhi, and the nearest railway stations are Kalka and Chandigarh. However, taxis and buses are well connected to Shimla from Delhi, Chandigarh, and all around the prominent places of NCR.
